We’re an alternative couple who decided life was far too short to keep waiting for the “perfect time.”
After navigating ongoing health challenges and a few reminders that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed, we stopped putting life on hold and chose a different path — swapping ordinary routines for RV life, open roads, and the freedom to wander wherever curiosity (or questionable sat nav decisions) takes us.
Along the way, somewhere between conversations on a sofa and daydreams of escape, Apparel Alchemists was born.
What started as a brief chat quickly grew into a brand built around everything we love — grunge aesthetics, dark humour, alternative culture, and the beautiful chaos that comes with life on the road. Our designs are inspired by late-night drives, strange roadside attractions, stormy skies, broken maps, heavy music, abandoned places, and finding reasons to laugh even when life gets weird.
Travelling with us is Einy, our scruffy four-legged co-pilot. He's named after Einstein due to our love of Back to the Future, because apparently one eccentric in the family wasn't enough. He takes his responsibilities seriously, supervising campsite setup, demanding treats, and ensuring no snack goes unmonitored.
Every now and then, we're joined by our honorary travel companions — my former cancer nurse (who somehow survived looking after me and still voluntarily spends time with us) and her fishing-obsessed husband. While we're hunting spooky curiosities and quirky roadside stops, he'll happily disappear with a fishing rod and return several hours later with stories that become increasingly exaggerated with each retelling.
Together, we're collecting memories, chasing sunsets, embracing detours, and proving that life's too short to save the good mugs, wear boring clothes, or wait for "someday."
We create apparel for the outsiders, the wanderers, the misfits, and the people who cope with life through sarcasm, caffeine, music, and a slightly unhealthy appreciation for skulls.
Apparel Alchemists isn't just a clothing brand.
It's our way of turning struggle into creativity, uncertainty into adventure, and real-life experiences into something wearable.
